Thomas Connell Fahey was an avid horseman who grew up in Kansas City and after working in New York, Florida, and Europe returned home and started Thomas Fahey Training in Bucyrus, Kansas. Thomas' love for the animals and the sport inspired many. His beautiful smile and gentle spirit affected all he came into contact with. Thomas died on August 27, 2006 in Lexington, Kentucky in a commercial airline crash. Through this horse show we hope to honor his memory and share his love and passion for the sport. This year proceeds from the Thomas Fahey Charity Horse Show will benefit Spofford's Horse Power Program. Spofford is a leading provider of prevention and therapeutic treatment services for children ages 4-12 suffering the effects of emotional or behavioral challenges.
